MEET OUR PROVIDERS

Greetings! My name is Tom and I am the Founder of Anchors Wellness. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Minnesota. 

I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from Walden University in 2021. Following graduation I provided Psychotherapy as a Psychotherapist with a privately owned outpatient community mental health agency. 

Prior to graduating with my MSW I enjoyed gaining a variety of experience in various social work settings, including county social work, school social work, community residential services (foster care), and clinic-based ABA services. 

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I provide individual, couples/marital, family, and group interventions. Additionally, I provide Autism Assessments and hold certification in Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood. 

I have furthered my education over the years to best support the varying needs that individuals have. I have completed advanced Autism training, LGBTQIA2S+ competence and gender affirmative training, and Trauma-Informed Care certification. 

I thoroughly enjoy working with all populations and needs, however I hold a particular interest in providing trauma-informed care and relationship and attachment interventions. I provide in-person, home and community-based, and telehealth services. I strive to add flexibility for the individuals I see by accommodating evening and weekend appointment availability.

Emma is our senior canine therapy companion. Emma was born on November 7th, 2015. Emma is a sweet old lady. Emma enjoys treats and cuddles with her human children. Emma prefers to be in your lap and/or getting pets and scratches. 

Wynter is our canine therapy companion in training. Wynter was born on December 8th, 2024. Wynter is very curious, loves his human children, and enjoys cuddling when he isn't burning off all of his energy throughout the day. Wynter continues to learn the canine therapy companion ropes from his big sister, Emma.
